Ilija Prenzoski the spearhead of Wollongong FC’s charge to NSW Premier League grand final victory is unlikely to play for the Wolves next year. Prenzoski confirmed he was negotiating with a rival NSW Premier League club and an Illawarra Premier League club. Prenzoski, who married wife Anastasia three weeks after the Wolves’ stirring grand final triumph, said he would make a decision about where to play in 2009 in the next fortnight. "I will know what I’m doing in the next couple of weeks," Prenzoski said. What would it take for the ex Dandaloo striker to play for a Wollongong based state league side in 2009?"It would have to be a pretty good offer," Prenzoski said. "Right now there is zero percent chance, because no one from the club has contacted me. "I haven’t spoken to anyone I don’t know what’s going on, I have heard the club is trying to promote juniors."I spoke to (2008 coach) John Turner a couple of weeks ago and he was supposed to call me back and I haven’t heard anything," Prenzoski said. Although 2008 had a storybook ending, Prenzoski said last year’s stint with Wollongong FC was frustrating. "A lot of things went wrong for me during the season, there were distractions like the training ground and having to chase up our pay from time to time," he said. "There’s a lot of things that could be improved."Prenzoski confirmed he wasn’t owed any money by the club. "I’ve been enjoying my time off this has been the longest I’ve had off for a long while."
