University Security Staff, South Yorkshire Police and the Students’ Union will be hosting interactive information stands on the Concourse from 6 8 November between 11.30am and 2pm.

BITEBACK Eating Disorders Support Group Drop In Service

BITEBACK is a support service for university students in Sheffield who are affected by eating disorders. It is run by Syeda (South Yorkshire Eating Disorders Association) who offer free support, information and a safe and confidential space to share your experiences.

The University is supporting World Mental Health Day, which takes place on the 10 October, with a week of activities and events. The theme of this year’s event is ‘mental health is for everyone’, everyone deserves their mental health and we want to reduce the stigma and isolation which can too often be associated with mental health problems.27 September 2013
