Just wondering how my DD compares! I don’t know if she has small feet or my YDD has big feet or a little of both!

My Oct 07 DD is in a size 9 for shoes, but seems to be between sizes for socks! She hasn’t worn socks in a while, but it’s starting to get cooler here so I bought some that would match her shoe size. It was a size "small" (from something size 10). They were WAY too small and I tried them on my almost 1 year old and they fit her perfectly (she wears a size 5 or 6 in shoes). I then bought my older DD the medium (though in a different brand) which was meant for shoe sizes 10.5 6. They are WAY too big on her! Not sure what I’m supposed to do now, except maybe try a different brand!

Currently her size 8 shoes still fit though she is more comfortable and has some room to grow in a 8.5 when I can find them. Rapidly moving into size 9 which I suspect will be the size needed for winter boots with the heavier socks on order to make it through. Lucky me I have a pair from 5 yr old dd that will work great. Also have a pair of size 10 but those were some hand me downs in a style I fought with to get on 5 yr old so I will be watching for a pair of those plus some size 12 for 5 yr old. She just recently went up to an 11.5 12 for size. Yes my children are practically the same size despite an almost 3 yr difference in age.
