will open a
store in the Del
Amo Fashion Center in
Torrance, Calif. on Sunday, Sept. 26. Maxx sells brand name and designer fashions for the
entire family, at 20
to 60
percent less
than
department store regular prices. The Del Amo store, which will occupy the upper level of the former Stor, will employ approximately 70 associates, full and part time.

The Massachusetts based chain, founded in 1977, opened its first California store in 1987 and today operates 43 stores in the state. Maxx. It
will sell an impressive range of clothing for women, men and children,
as well as 14 karat gold and sterling silver jewelry, women’s shoes,
giftware and home furnishings.
The store
will receive over 10,000
items of merchandise every
week to ensure that customers can always find new
bargains.
